OK, I’ll spell it out (briefly, ‘cuz I tend to be wordy.)
We have two conflicting trains of thought regarding influence during time travel – WHH and ‘you can do it!’
We have 2 conflicting characters
Jacob, ‘the hand of fate’. He represents WHH. (Kinda’ a man of science.)
MIB, Jacob’s nemesis. He represents you can change the future. (kinda’ a man of faith).
I’da thunk it, too – but if he’s ‘the hand of fate’ then he is manipulating them (or he’s that really funny Manos character MST3K showed). “What about you?” – sure Ben had a choice – but he was manipulated to act a certain way.
What’s wrong with the theory is ‘it always ends the same’ sounds really WHH.
What’s the theory?
I THINK waycurious is saying that in People magazine, they’re referring to the conflict…….wait, I have no idea.

I thought it was the other way around. 🙂
Jacob thinks everyone has a choice, no?
