Something small but could be major!!!!!

Hey while theorising for my ultimate theory I thought of something which nobody seems to have pointed out (sorry if somebody has)…..Christians body was never on the plane!!!!

This leads me to believe that Smokey has been playing him all along. Which also made me think……we have seen MIB off the island before…..many times….in the form of other people and this is how he influences the ‘Game’. I would go into this more but I was just wondering on others thoughts on this matter. Christian is key to the whole plot because his body wasn’t on the plane which begs the question whos was the coffin….now iv confused myself :S if anyone has any theorys then let me no…..thanks.

  1. “Christians body was never on the plane”

Are you talking about the alternate timeline in the season 6 premiere? If so, that’s been greatly hinted when the airport employee said they dont even know where the coffin was.

About MIB, interesting thought that he, like Jacob, is able to go off the island…but something’s telling me that he can’t be off the island like he’s being held captive on the island or something..

  2. Well the timelines only change mid-flight so how would a coffin just disappear mid flight????

Cliff I know what you mean about being held captive but I dont think that MIB is Smokey no matter what the producers say….smokey is captive but MIB isn’t. I will explain more in my master theory of which I am compiling all research I have done and combining them into one long theory. Thanks for your input 🙂

  3. The timeline did NOT change midflight; Shannon stayed in Aust., Locke went walkabout, Christian went missing, Desmond became superman, Hurley…who knows?, all BEFORE the flight.

  4. I’m leaning more toward something supernatural here.. I believe Christian’s body was originally on the plane, but his body dissapeared, much like Desmond dissapeared..

  5. The timeline didn’t change mid-flight. It changed in 1977 when the bomb went off. The consequences for that are the small moving to big changes we’ve seen so far – Des on the plane, Shannon and possibly Michael and Walt not, Charlie trying to kill himself. These people have all lived different times since 1977 depending on how the island had a hold on them pre crash. I think the coffin, missing knives and Jack’s neck is the timelines bleeding back into each other, stranger stuff is going to start happening.
If the timelines changed mid-flight then any changes would just ‘be’. If Christian’s coffin disappeared due to that no one would remember it needing to be on the plane in the first place, or Jack would go ‘where’s my Dad?’ and everyone elese is ‘what are you talking about he’s not dead?’

  6. I first thought like most people here, what is this guy talking about the timeline were changed starting at 1977 up to the 815 flight. I still think that. However you do bring an interesting point : what if the coffins were not on the plane in both realities ? I think that is still possible, and that could mean interesting things concerning how Christian got to the island.

  7. I believe Christian’s body was on both ALT flights..but I especially believe he was on that first ALT flight because, it seems consistent MIB can only replicate dead bodies that have been on the island (Locke, Christian, Yemmi..maybe now Jacob)
