Jacks Pen!!!!
Im sorry as always if someone has spotted this and im not giving credit but I haven’t read it anywhere…and im surprised no-one has said it ‘as far as I know’ Jacks pen doesn’t go missing in the alternate timeline….Kate lifts it off him when they bump outside the toilet…this is what she uses when getting the cuffs off. A bit of an obvious 1, cnt believe i didn’t notice till now.
This is not necessarily a theory, and it’s been talked about a lot that Kate did take Jack’s on the plane. Very subtle, but I thought it was cool when I finally figured it out later in the episode 😛
Yeah. As soon as Kate grabbed it, I noticed. Is that what you mean?
Where’s the theory??? It was I guess implied when Jack Is looking for his pen then we see Kate have a pen, it was cool her interacting with Jack & pick pocketing & everything but this Post should be in “Just for Fun” or General chat because now we have real theories being pushed down the ladder.
So if you can fix it that would be great Wesley.

i mentioned in another thread that jack was trying to find this pen to cut open charlie’s throat but he had to just use his fingers instead, potentially preventing a more serious outcome.
Sorry I know this is an old post but it came up on my front page so thought i’d comment on it lol besides the fact that Kate pick pocketed the pen, I think the scene was mirroring the pilot where Boone suggested to Jack he use a pen on Rose and Jack thought it was a ridiculous idea but politely humoured Boone by asking him to go and find him one anyway (also making Boone feel helpful). It made me laugh to see Jack in the flash sideways now require the pen to save Charlie’s life. Made me think, if the original timeline Jack thought the pen idea was terrible, maybe the flash sideways Jack isn’t such a great doctor..?
