Jacobs Ressurection! My big theory(shortened)

I was planning on doing a big massive theory on this but am settling for a teaser for now. If the theory pans out good with you guys then I will do the whole thing whereas if theres flaws then theres no point. Here it is anyway the grand master plan 😛

Is there a possible chance that these new others are smokeys team? the reason I say this is because we know MIB alredy has a new body. so how is something in Sayid? I think it is Jacob inside Sayid and thats why they’re killing him before it gets too late but because he is one of Jacobs team they cant kill him he must do it himself. Which is why they ask Jack to persuade him to take it willingly. I think a body can only be held host once as when Jacob enters the body if that body dies it would be feesable that it cannot be used again. This is also why they are expressing urgency on the rest of the losties being kept alive. therefor making Jacob have nobody to enter into. Possibly then making it ok for MIB to leave the island. I think we may see a white smoke now Jacob is dead.

you may ask well what was the warning firework for….well that in my opinion could be a regroup signal aswell to all MIBs group to return to the temple as they have killed Jacob ie this is why we see Claire on her way back in that direction because she is actually good along with Christian and they may not know that Jacob is dead.

you may also ask about the list. well that in my theory could be Jacob sayin these are my men u r not allowed to touch them. at which point he notices that there is Sayid waiting for Jacob to take over. so in a desperate attempt to save him he chucks him in the temple pool.

i believe that if they cannot harm each other or each others team cant harm each other then the only way to kill MIB or Jacob is getting one of their own team to do it.

Ben was Jacobs so he was able to kill Jacob….I now think that if Sayid dies Jacob will take over Lockes abandoned body as nobody has taken control of this therefor enabling him to walk straight up to MIB and kill him himself…..maybe.

Another thing I think all the Others even the ones at the statue were MIBs hence why he says hes so disappointed in all of them because they couldn’t figure out away to kill Jacob so MIB had to do it all himself.

They could very well be the people from the Black Rock but Jacob only wanted one of them (the one that was pure)  Richard, and let MIB have the rest on his team. As they cant hurt or kill each other they have been able to work together for other reasons while secretly plotting behind each others back. I also think this could be the reason Bens not that bothered when his men are killed because they really aren’t his men.

Furthermore Widmore was on MIBs team and thats why Ben went to kill him because the rules dont apply off the island….when ur on homeground anything goes. However killing one of Jacobs team off the island would be pointless as he can just go and tend to there dead bodies….with Jacobs team its more about keeping them alive so Jacob has nobody to possess.

When Ben went to shoot Desmond I think he assumed he was one of MIBs team (because the whole of Dharma were ‘infected ‘ by MIB) until he saw Charlie and realised hes had a child so he cant be and this is thanks to the fact he was inside that station for so long. Ben wiped out the Dharma before he was touched by Jacob….thats even if he was at all.

In the end its going to come down to sacrifice. Jack or maybe another Lostie will probably kill themself so that Jacob can take his body and somehow kill MIB.

If you have anything doubting this theory then please let me no bcoz the more I talk about it the more I believe it.

  1. i like it and think its very viable but why did they want to keep there own leader out of the temple they were seen putting the powder all around the temple and lennon said ” its to keep him out”

  2. It may be short, but it sure says a lot. I just feel a lot is being assumed here. You bring up interesting points, such as the “regrouping at the temple” for the MIB team, but then what’s the ash all about that they spread around the temple grounds? Assuming that smokie and the MIB team are together, or are “one”, it would make no sense.

  3. Remember when we first met Desmond on the island? He was shooting himself up with something to ward off some kind of disease or infection. At the time it was implied and assumed that it was a ploy to really just keep him from leaving his post, but maybe there was really something to it.

  4. my definition of black smokey is dead souls of the people he has taken….whereas Jacobs will be white and much smaller as he is pure and doesn’t take over other peoples bodies…or at least not as much. wen in human form they can walk past this ash but when in spiritual form they cannot cross. Maybe 😛

  5. Well then Smokey should have a pretty easy time about getting past the ash… just turn in to Locke-form, step over and turn back in to the smoke monster…

  6. almost every word of this theory is speculation.

    a) why do you think claire is on her way back to the temple to regroup? she could just be out hunting food or others.

    b) why do you think that christian is good? i realize why we think that he is still around (no body in the coffin… infected). but now that i think about it – i still think that christian was smokey. how would infected anyone get down into the room with the wheel? it just seems like smokey manipulating locke into leaving so that he could come back dead.

    c) why do you think that anyone is on smokey’s team? clearly ben is team-jacob. he got all the list and carried all that out for jacob. jacob says that someone who retired at his company killed him. so he was on his side. but all these people were following ben for so long. why would they be on smokey’s team?

d)black rock / richard. richard is the only pure one? where does that come from? we still don’t know that he was on the black rock. flocke could have meant glad to see that you aren’t in those chains as in you are free from being jacob’s slave.

    e) ben not killing desmond because he thinks they are on the same team? how about he has a soft spot for kids. he didn’t kill danielle. instead he took her baby and raised her as his own. that seems heartless. but i think he was probably taking her to ensure that she had a better life than what she would have had. like when carl says to kate and sawyer that they took the kids so that they could have a better life. better than what? better than yours. he didn’t kill penny because she had a son. as bad and evil as he seems – i think he has redeeming qualities.

    f) why do you think he wiped out the dharma initiative before he was “touched by jacob?” i mean he went to the temple as a boy. he wiped out dharma in his 20s or 30s.

here is the thing. the others could be on MIBs team. i just doubt they are. the one thing you are probably on to is the idea of sacrifice being a big role. but maybe that sacrifice already took place in jacob dying.

richard was asked what lies in the shadow of the statue. and he replied – he who will save us all. it seems like richard who is an adviser for ben and the others. so for him to say that jacob would save all of them – they seem to be on his team. also ben talks about the rest of his people are at the temple. thus ben and the temple others are on the same squad.

  7. This is an interesting theory, if it is true I think the writers need to clarify “good” and “bad” sides soon. I also think it’s interesting that he has a soft spot for babies, as if those that can reproduce are on his team.

I question your theory that if Clair is actually good, why would she leave her child?

I think I’d like the more in depth version of this theory.

  8. you have a few interesting points and ideas, but i see a lot of holes in the theory as well… maybe your longer version will fill those holes, so please post it, but for now i’ll try to show you a few of the problems with this theory…

    a) you are assuming that all of the others and most of the characters have already chosen sides and are on someone’s “team”, but none of the losties know anything about these teams, so you may think that some of the losties have been drafted of to one team or another without knowing and are going to be used by either Jacob or MIB for the ultimate goal… but the writers have tried to drill one thing into us again and again, and that is that freewill matters. So I don’t think that they will have the losties already aligned with anyone, and instead they will be given a choice as to what to do (personally I think they will end the war altogether by wiping out both sides, and that that is Jacob’s ultimate plan, and his ultimate sacrifice, but that’s just me).

    b) It seemed more likely to me that Claire heard one of her traps go off and thought that she had caught some food when she stumbled upon Jin and the Others. There was no indication that she was going back to the temple. Plus, if they wanted to kill Sayid, whom they say is infected, and that Claire is infected, it would imply that they would like to kill her too. So why would she go to the temple if they wanted to kill her? It is possible that the guy in the temple was lying about Sayid or Claire, but I think it is unlikely. The writers need to start answering questions, not bringing in more half-truths, lies, and mysteries… this is the final season after all. If he is lying then they just spent three hours feeding the audience a lie, when there are only approximately 16 hours of show time left for the series… With such limited time, why wouldn’t the writers just tell us the truth and get on with the story?

    c) If all of the others follow MIB, then why do the value Jacob’s name and his word so much in previous seasons, i.e. when Locke announces that Ben is taking him to see Jacob, and when Carl is being “re-educated” Clockwork Orange-style, the screen he is staring at refers to Jacob as a savior and a higher power.

    d) If Jacob’s plan is to take over Locke’s body so he can kill MIB, then why not just do it, why take over Sayid’s body, get killed again, and THEN take over Locke’s body? What would be the point of Sayid?

    e) When Ben went to Widmore, he specifically said that he (Ben) couldn’t kill him (Widmore). So, if these rules of yours do apply, and the opposing teams can’t harm eachother, then it would seem to apply off island as well… However, if the opposing teams can’t harm eachother, then why can the mercenaries both kill and be killed?

    f) Ben went to the temple and was saved at a young age, and he wiped out the Dharma Initiative at a later age. It was not the other way around.

All of those points being said, I liked your idea about no one being able to kill Jacob or MIB other than themselves. I actually just recently wrote a theory about a similar topic regarding why Ben was able to kill Jacob when no one else was.
Also, I agree that Jacob has essentially possessed Sayid. I don’t think Sayid is infected like the others think he is, but they have no previous experience with Jacob possessing someone, and there is no reasonable indication to them that it may be Jacob rather than the sickness. I think Jacob is using Sayid’s body as a hiding place from MIB and as a sort of leverage point to be used to convince other people like Jack and Co. to do what he wants them to do. But again, this is all speculation on my part, and I have very little evidence…

Anyway, I hope I helped you solidify your theory a bit more, and I’m looking forward to the finished product…

  9. thanks for your points….if anyone can would u be able to go thru the theory and list short bullet-points of the ‘holes’ in the theory because in some parts where I may be wrong I will also change to fit in with my overall theory…in my full version I do have answers to a few of ur questions. but some parts I dont….one point I will say is the freewill that plays in the end of the show will be suicide….maybe even mass suicide lol:)

  10. here are the things that you speculated on.

-claire was going back to the temple.
-christian is infected/alive/zombie. and that christian is good.
-smokey has a team at all.
-ben didn’t kill penny because he thought they were on the same team.
-ben wiped out the dharma initiative prior to being “touched” by jacob.
-smokey’s plan to take over sayid’s body just to take over locke’s.

for evidence and questions against these things refer to lilboyblue’s and my earlier comments.

  11. cheers blakecomer 🙂 one i will point out straight away

-ben wiped out the dharma initiative prior to being “touched” by jacob.

Ben has never seen Jacob and was cured by the temple so yea he wiped out dharma first….thought that was obvious.

  12. thought id just answer this 1 aswell while I was here 🙂

-smokey’s plan to take over sayid’s body just to take over locke’s.

Firstly I said Jacob not smokey. Secondly Im saying he knows Sayids body is going to be in the temple now so he would rather be there then out in the woods but I think if Sayid is killed he will take over Lockes dead body….as it is the only other body to take (at the moment). This way we could see 2 lockes running around. This would only make sense because Jacob needs a body of one of the Losties for them to trust what he says…..when MIB comes to the temple as Locke. Jack and other Losties will be wanting to help him whereas if Jacob is also one of them he can bend their ear in his favour.

  13. all theories are based on speculation, but the really good ones are speculation based on well established facts and patterns. So, a theory is more plausible the less it assumes.
