Statue from the Future

This may be the most ridiculous theory, but I don’t think (or hope not) this has been mentioned before, and it’s been stuck in my head all night. That being said, I’ll put this in the fun section and I’m prepared for my one stars. lol.

I have no evidence to back this up yet. But what if the foot we see now in the island (not the ATL) is an unbuilt version of Taweret? What if the statue we saw during season 5 was a glimpse of the future (Locke and co. seeing it from afar and the two rivals at the beach)? This can give the statue much much much more importance somehow, I just don’t know for what though. It could mean a symbol of a new beginning – is in ‘starting over again’ – hence the rivals’ conversation at the beach, or something. I don’t know. Any crazy ideas that might help this? 😛

I'm the dumbest guy in the world. I haven't watched Lost until the summer of 2009. I watched all four seasons within a few days, now I'm starting to again recently, in addition to season five! woot! :P

  1. How would you explain the Jacob and MIB conversation though? If its in the future how would Jacob be alive?

Sorry to stomp on your theory there, other than this its a pretty good thought!

  2. Feel free to stomp! lol

Jacob and MIB are ‘really special.’ He/they might even be eternal, hence the ankh sightings. Could be a seen with a loop in action; maybe the loophole we saw didnt work lol. I’m speakin out my ass now. haha

  3. I’m not doubting they can be from the future, in fact, I’ve kinda been saying that all along. I thought that’s why MIB couldn’t kill Jacob to begin with…..Jacob is alive in the future and the universe wouldn’t allow it.

About this idea….I don’t know man. It sure seems like it’s taking an extremely long time to add on to that one foot. LOL
