Flocke does not want to kill Sawyer, he needs him

Flocke cannot kill Sawyer and is reminded of this, but the truth is that he does not want him dead and must need him alive for some reason.  When they are climbing down the cliff to the cave, Flocke helps to save Sawyer when the latter breaks free from the rocks.  If Flocke wanted Sawyer dead but could not kill him, he would have let him just fall, so he must need Sawyer alive for something….probably something shifty, but for something non the less!

  1. I agree that Locke needs Sawyer to help him off the island, like when he says “Ready to go home?” He knows Sawyer wants to leave the island now that Juliet is gone, and he’s using this (free will of leaving maybe?) to get himself off as well.

P.S. I like your picture ifoundmyloophole

  2. Locke/Flocke/Smokey so far has manipulated the manipulater Ben Linus & now he will con the con man Sawyer….leads mi 2 think he will torture Sayid, murder Kate.

  3. I agree.

I think he needs Sawyer because he’s a candidate. He probably needs a candidate for whatever it is he needs to do–like get off the island. And once he gets off the island he’ll probably seek the end of humanity.

  4. Brilliant one smarty027 about noting their characterstics and how Flocke uses their own “medicine”/tactics. To add to your list, he also “timelooped” Mr. Timeloop himself Jacob to kill him.
