Just a quick note, when MIB chases the little boy in the jungle (Aaron/Jacob incarnate?), the boy says not to break the rules by killing Sawyer. Just a guess but this seems strangely familar to me. Remember when Ben’s daughter Alex is killed, he says, “He (widmore) changed the rules.” Then he goes to confront Widmore and says that even thought he can’t kill Widmore (and vice versa), he’s going to kill Wid’s daughter, Penny in revenge.

That sounds just like what’s been going on with MIB & Jacob. They can’t kill each other (just like Ben & Wid can’t) and they can’t kill each other’s kids (Ben’s = Alex, Wid’s = Penny, Jacob’s = Sawyer, Jack, John, etc., MIB = I don’t know).

Is it possible that Ben & Wid got their cue/rules from Jacob based on his relationship with MIB?

Hmmmmmm……..
