2007 in 2004

I’m just throwing this out there, since I don’t think it’s been talked about (most likely because it’s a silly thought).

So we all know or assume that the island events take place in 2007, while the off-island events are taking place in 2004 after the O815 non-crash.

You think it’s possible that the 2007 Island events are happening WITHIN the 2004 world? Maybe the island – and only the island – time traveled back in time in the “reset” world. This means that there are two islands, one underwater when in this timeline it sunk due to [enter your theory here], while the 2007 island is present somewhere in the world. This idea can help with the quote “they’re coming.” Who? Anyone’s game.
