Hasn’t been raining for awhile…

Rain used to be in almost every other episode. I don’t know when it stopped, but unlike Season 1, it hasn’t been properly raining (with the exception of the time traveling event with Sawyer and co). Do you think there’s some significance behind this, especially considering a comment during the Paley Fest…………?

Or are the producers just tired of using rain water?

I'm the dumbest guy in the world. I haven't watched Lost until the summer of 2009. I watched all four seasons within a few days, now I'm starting to again recently, in addition to season five! woot! :P

  1. I think rain is significant, I’m just not sure how. I always thought the scene in season 1 i believe where Locke predicts exactly when it was going to rain was strange.

  2. maybe in the other timeline its not jacob that gets killed, but mib.then its starts to rain and never stops, thats why the island is under water????

  3. cliff87, hey that’s right, it hasn’t rained in awhile! Good observation.

Is there some sort of Monsoon season in the Pacific (as in Asia and India?). Maybe its just a seasonal thing they have taken into account.
