How the Hell???
I have one seriously important question. With only nine episodes left, how the hell are they going to explain everything that we have seen in the last 5 1/2 years. There is no way. The producers have to have some simple explanation for the “island”. There is no other way. What does everybody else think?
I aggree that they have alot of explaining to do, but seeing the pace of the last episode( so many questions where answered ) they might just start putting the shows on overdrive. Or at least i hope so…
It’s been a huge question for a year now. Many people, including myself, believe that they’ll answer the most important questions directly, and the small ones will get answered in the process.
Do you really want them to write an episode where Ben explains to Hurley, “You see Hugo, that bird that said your name back in the day was actually a cross-breed, half parrot, half albatross. You actually own that bird five years from now. Through the weird time travelling properties of the island, that bird found it’s way into a weak wormhole by accident while flying around. Hopefully, Hurley, that’s answers your question about the bird that said “Hurley”.” As Ben winks at the camera.
They could do shit like that and make the story not only pathetic and ridiculous to watch, but also take speculation out of the picture for us viewers.
Ask yourslef what you really like about this show. Ask yourself why you watch it every week (if you do). I personally love the mystery. When they showed us that Richard was from the Black Rock, I was actually thinking to myself, “big deal.” It was one more thing to look forward to getting an answer on. Now that it’s answered, I’m not sure I care about Richard as much now. Weird, I know, but the mystery is gone.
Didn’t mean to write a novel here, I was just trying to get my point across that if they don’t answer everything, I’ll be just fine with it. As long as it’s damn interesting when it finishes.
That’s my point. I don’t want to have watched this show for 6 years and have the ending to be stupid because it doesn’t make sense. I hope it is damn interesting as well. It just seems that every week they say “Your questions will be answered”. Well they answer maybe 1 questions but I develop about 10 more during the show. I just don’t want to be watching at the end saying WTF??????
I agree with you on that. I wish they’d STFU about this “Your questions will be answered soon” BS. ABC’s full of shit like every other network. They think they know what viewers want, and whatever that illusion is, they drive it into the ground. Right now they know everyone wants answers, so this is their way to get people to watch next week, again, over and over.
I’m not expecting any major answers until the last couple of episodes.
We WILL get answers though. The writers aren’t just keeping us in suspense for no reason, it’ll conclude in a classy fashion I’m sure.

yes, i’ve heard all the important ?s will be answered, but not all of the minor ones… (I’m thinking we r NEVER going 2 find out who Henry Gale was either…)
Chief hit the nail on the head, people watch every week because of the mystery. Think of all we know at this point. Think of all of the questions that we had, that we now know the answers to. There has been literally hundreds of questions answered in the last 5 seasons. The writers of Lost do an amazing job of giving us answers at the same time that they are asking new questions. And they answer these questions without even telling us. Example- Richard came to the island on the Black Rock. I would say that is 99.9% confirmed and they have never once came out and said it(that would be the .01%).
If they pull off this mystery until the final big reveal and suddenly it dawns on all of us what has been really happening, It will go down as the best television show in history.

anyways the producers said they are going to answer what THEY think is important to the show and the characters and such… They cannot answer everyones Questions.. Hey at least they answered the inhaler one 🙂 I think that was just a stfu and let us do our job thing
susposedly the halfway point as in ep 9 is susposed to bombard us with answers… I think answers are coming out but like a puzzle we have to piece it all together when it gets to the end… Alot of thing won’t be like this was this or that.. It’s gonna be here’s some hints do put it together… There’s already been numerous hints this season but no one can make sense of them yet until we get more pieces
