Different handwriting

On the wheel in the lighthouse ‘Shephard’ has been written with different handwriting than the surrounding names. Apart from being bolder text, the name is also apparently written by a different person with the handwriting being far more angular than the other names

Does anyone have any ideas on the reason for this?
