Flocke and gang going to alt timeline?
Written 11th March
My guess is when/if Flocke and his followers leave the island they’re going to the alternate timeline!
Flocke promised Sayid to get Nadia back, Claire to be reunited with Aaron etc….
It would bea good way to merge the two storylines together aswell!
What you think?

I like this.
It could be. Do you mean that Island Sayid would merge with AR Sayid? Or would there be two Sayids? Would Sayid remember anything from the Island?
Good point. I doubt the show would go down the route of having two of the same character but then again there are 2 Lockes at the momeent lol My guess is they would merge kind of like Desmonds time travelling in series 3. And thanks for the comment imisscharlie 🙂
and it would be bittersweet if Jack and Hurley had to destroy that timeline to keep MIB on the Island because of something they learn from richard or MIB himself in ab aeterno or crossing the water eps.
I thought this also. I think the timelines of alt and island will merge for the ‘dead’ losties. This is because, the island losties cant actually think what they are doing in the alt timeline.
It will also merge for the island losties that have no hope, fear or happiness (Sawyer etc) or basically no feelings and will merge with the alt timeline of them.
Its a toughie, though.
I also think the timelines will merge, though in what way I’m not sure…
This goes together with the whole Many Worlds theory in quantum mechanics that people were throwing around…
Supposedly in this theorem– as explained to me by my scientist friend– the decisions of what happens in one world, ultimately affect/bleed through the events of the offshoot worlds… and at any point in time these worlds can merge.
In a super simple sense, if I make a good choice today, in an alternate world I would make a bad choice, but ultimately in that alternate world my bad choice would be somehow overridden by a good choice.
Sorry if I didn’t explain that well. Where’s Faraday when you need him…
ADayAfar, that may very well happen on Lost, but it has nothing to do with science.
Hmm, true ilieintheshadowofthestatue.
I’ll have to ask my friend what exactly he was trying to tell me about decisions being overridden in one world carrying over to other worlds. I think I’m getting the real world mixed up with the Lost world too much, hehe. :/
I believe the timelines will merge in this way too – I have a similar theory @
