The worst theory for the end of Lost

Just for fun, let’s think of the worst ending possible to this brilliant series.
IMO the worst endings would include all being a dream, they are dead in purgatory or they end up in the flashsideways reality with no memory of their experiences on the island.
So, this is my theory:
Jacob elected a candidate to replace him as protector of the island after Jack has got rid of MIB. A panoramic view of the island. Hugo is at the mental institution saying: “And this was the strange dream I had last night. I will never eat so many tacos before sleep. Dude!”. And Libby looks at him with a dumb face trying to understand that. Lost logo. The End!
Worst ending = ALIENS!!

All took place in a snow globe of an autistic kids mind…
Camera pulls back to see someone is writing a book…
All of the main characters are in comas…
Smokey gets in a spaceship says, “Here boy” and takes off with Vincent…
The remaining candidates are all sitting around camp eating boar and bananas for dinner. We see Jacob and MIB stroll into camp… Then suddenly the screen goes black. I start freaking out because I think my cable went out… LOST
Any of the above, I’ll probably cry for weeks.
@elsewhere: ROFL I found that hylarious. It would be very surrealistic if something like that happens. Not that I actually want that to be the ending lol, but I wonder what would happen if they give us a really WTF ending that leave us all unsatisfied?
Glad I could make you laugh pilouuuu. lol! I’m trying to keep the faith. I’m hoping that whatever the ending is, that it will make sense in the grand scheme of things and give us closure. But, I highly doubt that all of the loose ends will be tied up in a nice big bow. And, I really don’t mind if something’s are left open for interpretation…
But, the sad truth is that not everyone will be happy with the ending, no matter how it ends. So, here’s hoping that there won’t be too many TV’s flying out of windows on finale night! lol! Keeping fingers crossed!
Worst ending is anything involving them not remembering their experiences..meaning the 1 – 5 seasons we watched were pointless..!!!!!!
It would be worse if they just ended the show now, and didn’t even finish the season LOLLLLL
I have to agree with Monini. The worst end would be no end, i.e. the show is cancelled before there is an end.
hey ilie: Random question, I wrote a theory last night and submitted it..but it hasn’t showed up yet but other new theories have.. It’s after Friday where Lost airs in UK, so I’m wondering what’s going on? There were no links and I never watch spoilers, so any idea what the deal is? Makes me sad =( b/c I thought it was particularly brilliant..lol.

I completely agree, Monini. It would really annoy me if they leave characters in an alternative reality with no memory of what they lived in the island. Even if they are happier, they would be not so developed people due to the fact that their experiences shaped them for good in some cases. I’m crossing my fingers that will not happen.
And I’m must say I’m really glad they are finishing the series, as much as I’m going to miss it. There are so many good TV programs that are cancelled and leave us all wondering what would happen next. I think it’s disrespectful for viewers. I wish that now on most shows will follow the sheer brilliance of Lost in that and in more aspects.

Should I email the admin? I hope there’s a submitted copy, because the fact that it’s not under drafts makes me nervous, as if I lost the entire thing =(
