Locke born on Island? Adam & Eve his parents? Help prove I am crazy LOL

In thinking about the kid running around on the island, I am starting to personally think it is either Aaron on Locke himself (A hunch based on lots of repeat watching of episodes on the backstories of these two and comparing screen caps… Heck, I am starting to wonder if Locke is not infact Aaron).

One of the more important elements to this crazy theory I have is to determine WHERE Locke was born. We know when, we know it was premature. But we really dont know WHERE (or at least I couldnt find it so thats why Im asking for help to disprove my thought that he was born on the island). Why do I think the island?:

– I know its before the heart of DI on the island
– The hospital Emily is rushed into looks very industrialized like some of the DI places on the island. But not sure it really looks like The Staff
– Richard was there… So far we we know right now… the only one who can get off the island at that time was Jacob. So how was Richard able to get off for for the birth and to test him later?
– Could of infact all of that have happened on the Island? If we assume that to be true for a second… that would explain how Richard is there..

Anyhow… I know… hair-brain idea and theory maybe… But if someone could put me out of my misery by showing proof that he was not born on the island, that would be great.

The reason I ask for proof is, JJ and crew do a GREAT job and making you THINK something is true, but only because you “assume” certain things (i.e. Claire being dead)

I have been on a kick to challenge all assumptions I have made about lost… Like for example, it just dawned on me… We ASSUME Jacob went off the island to touch the candidates. But did we ever see PROOF that infact he was off the island? If we assume its all on the island, that took would explain how Jacob touched them all. And how Richard was there @ Locke’s birth.

I also just realized in watching repeats that one alias that Locke’s dad used was Adam… made me think… what if Adam and Eve are Locke’s parents? When jack found them, he claimed they were about 50 years old based on their decay. Almost exactly how old Locke is. But Locke mentioned the clothes looked to be only about 2 or 3 years old… which could be explained by time travel perhaps?

Thanks

  1. very interesting, but the fact that Richard also visited Locke as a kid and he wasn’t on the Island (when he gave him the test) and then we see Locke in High School turning down a science scholarship from Richard’s front company (we would know if this was on the Island). He may have been born there, but he would have left as an infant and I think Anthony Cooper would have recognized being on the Island when he was being lugged around to be killed there.

I can see where you’re coming from, but I hope I helped prove you’re crazy (hey, you asked for it).

  2. I love being crazy.

One item I left out of my theory… What if we also assume that EVERYTHING we have seen in 6 seasons has taken part in one way or another on the Island (that infact there is no real LA, Sydney, etc. Its all just a magnification of the Island).

That would lead to some answers on just how infact Richard got OFF the island? And explain just how Anthony Cooper returned to the island just to end up being killed by Sawyer.

I dont think I am 100% on the right track… or even 50% lol… but I can’t shake the feeling there is a distinct connection between Adam & Eve with Locke.

    6 more hours… I can hardly wait!

  3. This is a little out there LOL .. but im not gonna say stupid like Penelopedean did because i find that quite disrespectful (no offence Pen).. But im pretty sure in season 4 or something when locke was time traveling, he says to Richard ‘in 2 years im gonna be born in *names place*’ and tells him to go check it out so im pretty sure its off island 🙂

    Interesting enough read though!

  4. I’m ok with Stupid… I did ask to be proven crazy after all.

6 hours, at the time, in PST was how long until tonight’s episode.

When I tend to think of theories for this show, I challenge myself on what I “assume” I know, and what I know for sure. That is to say, these writers are AWESOME at telling a story in such away that you make a lot of assumptions along the way only to realize you were wrong. And when you realize you were wrong, and you go back a few seasons to find out if you just were remembering wrong, you realize, they never really did say for certain that X or Y was true.

Example… a lot of folks “assume” Jacob is good because he wears white and has a jesus like look… I think we are going to find out that assumption might not be all that correct tonight.

Thanks for all the feedback… Lets all meet back here in a few hours and see what we think 🙂
