Favorite Season Six Episodes
I have created a poll so people can choose their favorite season six episode so far.
I hope that this is not against the site policy if it is then my apologies
After a couple of weeks I will post the data from the poll in this post

“Ab Aeterno” – I thought it was masterfully done from beginning to end. The acting was great, and it shed some light on the mysterious Richard. Even though I would have rather seen a more majestic past for that guy, like being around for thousands of years, and even though I was straight pissed about how it was storming like mad when the Black Rock approached the island, it was a good episode.
“Across the Sea” – Not many liked this one. I thought it was great. It was literally the only episode this season where I wanted to know EVERY word that came out of everyone’s mouths. Even though it raised more questions, and I’m sick of seeing an important set piece immediately before it becomes important. In other words, it would’ve been better to see the “light” two seasons ago. Now all the sudden it’s the most important piece of the puzzle, and it makes it look like the writers make stuff up as they go.
That’s it so far. Every other episode has been too confusing for comfort, or has told us nothing, or ended the same way it began. “Recon” and “What Kate Does”, I’m looking at you.
Dont forget “Happily Ever After” – my favourite of the season and very close to the top of the list of my favourite episodes of the entire series.
I think Ab Aeterno was the best. I thought that the ending was fabulous to. Don’t forget to fill out the survey
Also according to the poll so far Across the sea is runner up to Ab Aeterno for favorite episode.
I would have voted for Dr Linus if it was on the poll, Michael Emerson was great, I loved the Ben-demption and was totally not expecting it. This episode lifted my heart in a way that I haven’t felt since the Desmond/Penny/phone-scene in The Constant.
Ab Aeterno is next for me, the only reason it fell second to Dr Linus is because I had waited so intently for a Richard-centric episode, therefore had set myself some high expectations. Some of us had already guessed he’d arrived on the Black Rock a ridiculously long time ago, he became immortal somehow, he was a loyal servant that he was non-violent in nature. So confirming these things and finding out why he was on the Black Rock etc etc wasn’t a big deal to me, I tend to be drawn to character or story development, and I don’t think a lot of that happened in this episode. But I can’t deny that as a standalone episode, it was “masterfully done” as Chief put it, fantastic acting, cinematography, as a creation it was simply beautiful. Although I rate Dr Linus as my favourite of this season, that is simply from a storyline pov, I would probably put Ab Aeterno in my top fave 15 tv show episodes of all time.

Can I say any episode after “What Kate Does”? That was one of the worst episodes in a long time I thought but every episode beyond that left me thinking “Best Episode Ever!” or “That was so good!”.
I have to say i really liked “What They Died For”…Ab Aterno was a close second…

I really enjoyed “The Substitute” and “The Candidate”.
“Happily Ever After” the Charlie Desmond interractions were very involving. The Daniel Desmond interractions were mind blowing. Curik did a great job.

oh yeah…forgot about the substitute…damn…that might have been my favorite…
