Today we find out it is a spacecraft

Chief16, prepare your shotgun. I’ll call 911. Because I am about to be proven correctly about the island being a spaceship. Now the producers said that the island is no “Alien Spaceship”. But that does not mean that it is not a. “Human Spaceship”.

Anyway, it was nice knowing everyone and it was great theorizing and debating everything and I do believe that I am the king of foreshadowing having broke the hidden secrets behind LOST from the very first episode. Let it be known. And I look forward to seeing you guys on our next show.

  1. a craft of any kind – is ridiculous. there isn’t enough time to introduce an “alien” element – so if it is a craft – (good lord) – it’ll be a human one from the future like in Sphere.

  2. Well, whatever that thing was down there, it was made by someone. It wasn’t some meteor, or some natural occurance. I’m probably still going to blow my face off just for wanting to at least know SOMETHING about this show, and having nothing to know. This finale told us nothing.

  3. Chiefof16? You still there?

Lol, I feel ya. Kind of cheap that they didn’t explain what the island was more clearly in the end. I guess too many people complained about how badly it would have been if they used that ending so I guess they didn’t explain it at all. But I still believe it was a spaceship as shown in the comic book.

And I agree there were too many loose ends that need to be tied up.

1.) What about Walt? How come we never came back to him? I mean the guy had Astral Projection powers, and “He’s a very special boy” type of stuff. He could hear the whispers which we now know as the dead people of the island. I’m sorry but he doesn’t seem so special if we last see him on a busy city street doing the same thing every other normal kid is doing.

2.) It was a good ending for the characters how all of them remember being on the island but are stuck in their alternate reality. A unique way to be “rescued” so to speak. So the nuke set off to create that tangent universe without the island is meant for those. “It worked” Juliet said. However, there are now two Miles, Sawyer, Lapetis, Kates, and the other two who were on the plane that took off. The ones on the plane are by deduction going back to their “crappy reality” where they have nothing and are eventually going to “want” to come back to the island. Jacob touched their lives before and the lives they are going back to in the “Normal” reality aren’t going to be worth diddly squat.

3.) The islands origins. We never saw the islands origins, only one of many protectors, with the oldest protector being that crazy woman who can speak Egyptian. However, we know she wasn’t the first protector. This story obviously goes much much deeper than the writers ever revealed. These are questions we need answering.

I think these are very very bad choices to make to not answer those questions for the very devoted fans technical side of people. Even if being a spaceship was the worst ending ever, we still want to know if it is a spaceship. (It is btw.) I still believe it is because even the island breaking up and sinking suggest that it is not land bound. It’s simply floating on the ocean, and can sink.

Overall, I like how they ended the characters part of the story, but we need much much more. Like show Hurley running the island.

I do think there is PLENTY of material left for another season to close these ends up, and I want to see one. Otherwise I’m left with a decision to purchase this series on Blu-Ray, but may not wish to do so as it is a series with too may questions left unanswered.

  4. Argh. Everyone one is so annoyed with the ending because they dont really understand what the island is or what it came from, but, ladies and gentlemen, that’s not the point. The show has always been about the characters and what the island is FOR. The island was a place for these people to repair their lives and encouter evil in its raw form and face it head on.
Instead of focusing on all the answers we’re missing, we should be focusing now on what the show has presented us as a whole. And it tells us something pretty amazing. And if we’re too stuck up in our own ways of what we think the show should have been in order to see what it is about the show that makes it amazing – then we really have learned nothing from the characters we’ve invested in for so long.
