Raised by another

This might just be a coincidence (but I highly doubt it). But it seems to me, that if one arrives on the island pregnant…the child (children) will be raised by someone else.

Danielle gave birth to Alex — Raised by Ben
Claire gave birth to Aaron — Raised by Kate
Claudia gave birth to Jacob and MIB –Raised by “Mother”
