Dead is dead?

Great site just joined today!

My thoughts are on John Locke coming back from the dead. If “dead is dead” as Ben says and presuming he is honest in saying this has not happened before then how does this explain Christian seeming to do the same thing?

Presuming the island has brought him back to life as he was dead on 815 it would appear he is also a special case as he is now alive again. None of the other characters that have died have been given this gift which leads me to conclude that Christain will be of key importance to the ending of the show and we are yet to see his true purpose.

This theory works on the assumption that only the important people (important to the island) are brought back to life.

I would be interested in anyone elses opinion on this.

  1. It depends I guess… It depends on if Ben knew about Christian and that he had been brought back to life or not. If he knew then he was lying. If he didn’t then he just might not really know that the island has that ability.

  2. I just had a thought. Why did Christian act so strange when Jack was chasing him season 1? We’ve seen him talk and walk normal without being super stiff, creepy, and teleporting a few yards. Why was he acting so different? He’s an interesting character…
