If that is the Black Rock approaching the Island in the water, then how does it manage to end up in the centre of the Island? Has this been explained?

Disney comes to the island, as foreshadowed by Walt, they build Typhoon Lagoon and it gets blown in.
seriously though. who knows. Originally i thought maybe they moved the island and when it reappeared it did so under the black rock, but i don’t really think that is how it got there anymore given the whole time thing (if it even applies to the island itself).
maybe they docked it on the beach and the island ‘grew’ around it.
I think the obvious answer is the one the show gave us. it came in on a tidal wave.
Let me elaborate. I think it was Artz who said that by the way. You see we don’t know who Jacob and his counter-part are. For all we know they control different elements. In the conversation Jacob had with MIB on the beach, MIB said “you brought them here”. But never said how. How do we know he didn’t control the currents that literally lead them to the island. And to keep them from initially meeting the two of them he caused an immense tidal wave to “crash” them onto the island. He probably did so in order to see who would stand as the leader and how he would react under that power. Becoming a loyal honorable person or turning into someone more like Ben. Power driven.
