Will the vaccine that Desmond and Aaron took have any role in Season 6?
I don’t know, but it seems as though they are the only two who took the vaccine. Desmond says nothing happens when you take it, but we might not have seen the effects of it yet. Any thoughts?
wasn’t the vaccine just another part of the Dharma Initiative’s methods of deception and scaremongering? from what i can gather, the vaccine did nothing so it was more of a placebo.
No effect yet, but it could be what makes them so ‘special’. At several places we see people (including Faraday’s mother) telling Desmond he’s special. And in Season 1 we see a future-teller saying to Claire that her baby is special and that she needs to take care of him, she needs to raise the baby at all costs. He then talks her into taking the plane that is the plane that crashes in season 1.
Also to be noted, Desmond and Aaron both took the vaccine, and they are, with Walt, the missing losties that are not back to the island yet.
