Juliet (possibly with Jack’s help) will save a dying Ben in an upcoming episode. Ben will proceed to get a young boy crush on his very own island lifesaver …
Oh and then he will proceed to fall in love become obsessed with her 20+ years in the future because she looks just like a woman that saved his life when he was younger.

Yeah, I like it too. Before we were introduced to young Ben again, I thought maybe Juliette would be the woman young Ben saw in his window in “The man behind the curtain”. Instead of his mom’s ghost. But since that didn’t happen, I like this theory.

I think that is what they wanted us to think. But the real reason is most likely because he does know her already from being a child…just wrote a new theory on this.

Didn’t Ben say that She reminded him of a teacher he had as a child? If so then it is possible she was his teacher…..must look this up…

I agree that Ben knows her from when he was a child…..and she could definately be the one to save him.
You know why I like this? Because it would mean that the older Ben that we’ve already seen had always been shot by Sayid.

Has anyone seen Ben with his shirt off and his chest exposed? If so, did you see a scar on his chest from an old bullet wound?
Do we think Sayids actions are what made Ben the person we all know? Ben seemed to be the nicest kid ever when he was taking Sayid a sandwich and a book to read saying ‘everyone gets hungry’ and even risking the beating from old pops in doing this. I think Ben remembers that as the day that he tried to elp somebody and they shot him so now he trusts no-one…..Sayid made Ben the Benipulative person he is and Ben made Sayid a true killer…..after all killing a man wouldn’t be as hard as killing a defenceless boy.
Oh and I totally agree with you Walkabout. Apart from the Jack part….people don’t know hes a surgeon but they know Juliet can perform a C-section. I dont think would even get te oppurtunity….afterall hes just a janitor 🙂
Ben was being nice to Sayid because he thought that Sayid was one of the Hostiles. The Hostiles have promised to take him away from DHARMA when he’s ready. He sees the Hostiles as his friends who will are going to rescue him from the evil clutches of that hippy Horace and his sinister hench(work)man Roger…

Its Kate thats the mechanic but now I’m confused because I thought Kate knew stuff about cars n that before coming to the island and seemed cluless when Juliet was talking about it. Hmmmmm.
Juliet and Kate and the mechanics. Jack and Roger are the workmen. Sawyer is head of security. Hurley is cooking food… AND THEN GIVING IT TO OTHER PEOPLE TO EAT! That is, instead of eating it himself… I think it’s all the LSD and the brownies…

i like this but i cant help but say this … didnt ben use the whole “doesn’t juliet look alot like your ex wife” thing on jack … i always thought that was what he meant by you look just like her
smokey: They brought Juliet to the island because she “looks just like her” as in the one who saved Ben. But Ben chooses to have Juliet be the one who talks to Jack/brings Jack his food because she also resembles Sarah. Why else would a fertility doctor be assigned caretaker of the prisoner?

Ben does make a comment to Jack about Juliet looking like Sarah. Leaves me to ask the question, how does Ben know what Sarah looks like. I know you can see pictures, but, it just seems off to me.
