Who killed Miles’ reads?

Who killed these guys and why?
For the latter, one assumes it’s the Others … but when Sawyer brings Ben to them he acts as if Ben were shot/killed by them that would cause a war. Sawyer is cozy where he’s at – but knows how bad it would be for the O6 if their truth were found out … and the Other’s vote was pretty quick to off Sayid (Sawyer raised his hand, too … )
For the former … if it was a test for Miles, Naomi knew the answer. He was going to show Widmore. Did he succeed, or was it Widmore?

ya, lost#s (i abbreviated ur username, sorry) is right.. the guy on the island probably was working at the orchid building site and since it’s electromagnetic magnetism and all that other nerd stuff, his metal filling was pulling out, ripping through his head. So technically, the island killed him, but it was just an accident.
As for the guy that Naomi brings Miles to in the flashback, who knows? It’s been speculated in other posts that it was Tom intercepting the invoice and pictures and then killed Felix, or it could have been Widmore’s own men, killing one of their own simply to cover up the tracks. It may have even been the third party that killed him, or perhaps this Felix man wasn’t even working for Widmore at all, maybe he was taking those papers to him to blackmail him or something. Only time will tell!
I thought Miles was just hiding it from Hurley … but it could have been the electromagnetic stuff Horace was mentioning. It’s just odd, odd, odd the body bag thing seems to be kinda’ normal for the guys dragging them about, and the filling hole seemed a little high on the temple. And, Sawyer seems more concerned the O6 will get hurt by Dharma guys than electromagnetic stuff.
