Sun’s Dad/Widmore – how close?
There has never been a real reason for Sun/Jin as key players … but maybe it has to do w/Widmore and her dad.
When she confront’s Widmore, she introduces herself as his daughter and mentions her Paik (sp?) Industries position. His reply, “Ah, yes, of course. And how is your father? … Quite the golfer. I believe I owe him dinner after our last game.” She then coldly mentions he knows all about O6 and where they came.
I don’t know how closely their business relationships are … but they seem to know each other a tad more than most high-level executives 1/2 a world away from each other.
And we know her dad’s tactics were rather ruthless …
i think widmore and paik are members of the new/present day D.I. along with christian, before he “died”.

Good connection; two like men, no? Not sure of the significance, but shows the character of Widmore, if nothing else, to associate with a Korean mob lord.
