The Incident, they fail but survive.

Ok, this is my first theory that i have posted, but i think i have something figured out here.

On the last episode, Follow the Leader, we saw Jack and Sayid were with Richard and going to move the h bomb to the site of the future swan so that they could blow up the energy.

I believe that they fail in blowing it up. I havent quite figured out how they move the h bomb to the site of the drilling but richard says that they will take it out the same way that they got it in there, maybe using the smoke monster, I don’t know

A few seasons back when Desmond turned the fail safe key he caused an explosion of energy which causes him to travel back in time. I think that after Jack and Sayid get the bomb to where the drilling is going on they fail in blowing it up in time, and the energy is released, causing them and whoever is with them (hopefully the other losties) to travel back in time. Richard would only see an explosion and the losties dissappear which would look like people dying in an explosion.

The Dharma scientists find the H bomb where our losties left and and are unable to move it, because they lack the abilities or technology that the hostiles have to move it. it weighs 40,000 lbs. And as Faraday knew to bury it in concrete, so would any other scientist i guess. So they bury the bomb where it is and cover it with concrete and build the swan on top of it. This would explain why Sayid and Jack found uch a thick layer of concrete under the swan a few seasons back, remember Sayid saying that last time
