Guitar Case – Ray’s/Christian’s/Locke’s shoes
Written on 15th May 2009
Hello all,
New to the forum, been lurking for a day or two. Nice to see some people more obsessed than me about this effing tv show. I have so many questions, theories, statements rattling around in my head, I feel like Lost is an opiate and I am a hopeless addict. I want so many answers but really don’t… I don’t want the suspense or speculation to end, I also don’t want those answers generating more questions.
So on to my first question or idea. I guess I didn’t notice the potential significance of the guitar case Hurley was carrying around. But I have seen some threads on here where people are asking about what we suppose is inside. I wonder if the guitar case is a method for getting Charlie back to the island. Much like Jack had to throw some shoes onto his old man, or Locke for that matter. Thoughts? If not, what was up with the shoes? This has probably been mentioned before but I figure this method was how Jack inadvertently got his father back to the island. It’s a little hazy right now but didn’t Jack have to put shoes onto Locke to “get him back” to the island? And then looking back, Jack put those boat shoes onto his father prior to the flight and then, bam, he is back on the island.
