Ending like Sopranos?
I read a recent article that featured an interview with Cuse and Lindelof..
Lindelof said of the Sopranos finale that “we remember every frame of the diner scene” (the final scene).. is this indicating that they’re going to leave LOST wide open for audience interpretation?? I seriously hope not.. I mean, sure, it’s like a good book that you can make up whatever ending you want, but darnit, I just want some answers!

He also mentioned that it will be a definite ending with no signs of a possible sixth season.
Matt Fox said that the ending is “going to be really beautiful and powerful.” The Sopranos is neither of those 😛
Sopranos finale*
Yeah, I’m just hoping they don’t leave it up to the audience. I dunno bout the rest of you, but I’d much rather have them tell the story instead of leaving it to me to make it up.. I think they’d do a much better job..
i read that interview a while ago too. I also read the interview with Matthew Fox about the ending from which i wrote the following theory on how lost will end.

I think they know better than to finish the show and still have us confused.
I guess a few questions will be left unanswered which may keep us talking for a while after the final season, but I think the major questions/mysteries will be given a good conclusion.
Seventh* season… Lol sorry
and ya they better go into hiding (like Damon joked about) if that happens
I think they will answer everything but in a way like where we have to figure it out… Throw clues out there and hope we get it and not just flat out tell us
I think they may go more the way that the original version of The Prisoner ended. They may seemingly destroy what they have built up but upon further reflection actually end it in keeping with the ideas they founded the show on.
If you’ve never seen the end of the original The Prisoner, on the surface it seems to destroy every facet of the show and answers none of the fan questions. But if you dig deeper the ending of The Prisoner is solidly rooted in the concept of the show to begin with.
