Dabsi and Her Red Pen…Achalli’s reincarnation…CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE…and AES’s mistake…

When I was in 10th grade…I had a history teacher who abused his power of seeing things with the simple use of a red pen.
He would use it to mark a book when you did something wrong…which in turn, made you lose points for the day…
He didnt have to mark the paper or anything…the simple act of reaching, pointing, or pulling out the pen would result in the student straightening up…and trying to make it through the day (or year for some of us) without having that ‘weapon’ used against us…

Last night Achalli asked me questions on my theory…relating it with his theories on Chronopolis…which fit EVER so well…and I thought briefly as I was answering that there are other possibilities…I just couldnt figure exactly what…

Today, Dabsi posted a theory called , “A Bit of Lost Determinism & Chaos”, it made me think more than I ever have before on a subject…
So…I am here and now to say I made a mistake…I do that sometimes…

Sometimes I leave nouns out of words because Im trying to type 600 words per minute…sometimes I like to spell island, “”isalnd”…and in this case…I went against the very thing that I screamed in nearly every post last year…”There will be change”…and the island WILL be affected.

Although I still stand by all else that my “The Greatest Theory That I Have Ever Seen…” theory, but the one thing that I am wrong about…is on island change…

And here is the correction to my post.

I say that the island is a constant…I say that it will not change…I am wrong…there will be change, and John Locke is the proof.

Achalli got me started on reincarnation…and now I cannot stop thinking about it.

So…this is what I think is going to occur after the bomb…

The Plane that the Losties will transport via conscience on will NOT crash since detonating the bomb….but (this will be confusing)…it had to crash… TO NOT CRASH!!!

I believe we will see the plane land safely in LA…again making the X, in LA X, a symbol for the losties being variables. (the most common variable is X)

From there, I left a little note saying about a pilot clue…this is where I am right…but wrong…

The conscience that exists inside the minds of the losties bodies that are ON the plane AFTER the bomb goes off…will conscience travel into the bodies of the Losties on the beach in the pilot episode.

From here…we can now have change.

You see…no..the losties cannot go back to 1977…and change the past…they are not part of that timeline….

And yes what happened happened…but hear me now…WHAT HAPPENED….will NOT happen again…

What they can do, much like Desmond does, is conscience travel to a past version of themselves, not in time as we think it, but past as in themselves…the year is IRRELEVANT!!!

When they land in LA, they are eventually going to realize that they need to be on the island…

I explain the “why” in my theory…this is not the place for that…

The conscience that was booted from the alternate timeline losties on the LANDING 815, will be pushed into the bodies of the Losties from the pilot episode.

They will have an opportunity to do one of two things…

1) The exact same things that occur in the show already…obviously not my intention here…

or

2) Will have the opportunity, via conscience travel from the alternate timeline, plane landing losties… knowing what happened, conscience travel back to that part of their lives…and do things differently…

At some point, we are going to have a full blown FLIP between the two losties consciences…

The losties who are on the island…in what is now 2004…again…will do things differently.

They will play the game they want…and do you know what is going to happen to the ones who returned…?????????????????????

THEY ARE GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

…just as Richard Alpert told Locke they did…

I am done with the Flocke/MIB/Nemesis charade…it is LOCKE!!!

It may be a Locke who is either influenced or controlled by MIB…but Locke none the less.

Here is the good part…This John…that we see have Ben kill Jacob…

This John… who tricks everyone into thinking he is ressurected…

This John…is the John from the SECOND pilot like scene we will see…and he will not die as the others do…and who may be the one who may even kill the other losties…and he will live.

And upon living, however long it is before the Ajira crash, whether 3 years or 3 minutes, will simply swap places with dead Locke and do what many cannot…be patient.

But when dead Locke dies, alive Locke acquires all his memories as well.

He also carries the memories from HIS timeline…which are the ones that have a changed island DURING THOSE THREE YEARS…NOT since the incident…

He knows, and is the only one who knows what happened OFF island after the 06 and he and Ben leave…what happens on island during the time we spent watching what happened happened for the past 5 seasons…and most importantly…what happens after the losties create a NEW timeline, return to the island, do things different, creating a new on island timeline…and die…thus creating change.

This Locke who we know as Flocke…is the closest thing to a god the earth has seen since…dare I say….Egyptian times.

He knows everything about not only the time period that has existed throughout the show, but the time period that existed between 2004 and 2007….

HE IS A PRODUCT OF THE ALTERNATE TIMELINE ON THE ISLAND FROM THE LOSTIES TRAVELLING BACK AND CREATING CHANGE WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE!!!

He was not in 1977….he does NOT know what happens from that…he learned from the conscience travelling Losties…

And when the monster drags him away in the first season…and shows him the “beautiful eye of the island”…he will become protected and replaced by MIB…who may or may not be responsible for their deaths as Alpert says in “follow the leader”.

This Locke will put his plan into place, having it ultimatley and ironically, thwarted by Jacobs death, which I explain in my original post.

So what now…?

The Losties who died on island from the picture Alpert was shown will have that conscience pushed to their conscience back to their OFF island selves after their on island deaths, and realize everything that has happened…and even a little that has not…wink…

They will then return PHYSICALLY to the island in 2007, via a boat, plane, or reverse FDW…and the show will play out…

What happened before does not happen again…but its purpose is to help the Losties not make the same mistake…the ultimate redemption tool.

From here, you can refer back to my post to learn what I think occurs…how Jacob is the one who actually tricked MIB…and what happend happened…but it will not happen again.

I apologize for the mistake…

I GRACIOUSLY give all credit of not only realizing my mistake, but realizing MY true Lost beliefs to Dabs and Achalli…

Without them…I would have had to pull out my own little red pen this season…and take points off of myself for the year…

  1. Alright! another agreement that Flocke is actually a different Locke!!! You might have thought this for a long time, but I’m just now seeing you say it.

The more I’ve learned about all of your alternate timeline (I mean everybody’s) theories these past few weeks, the more I have to agree with this.

How Locke has knowledge of both timelines I didn’t understand, I have to read all this again. The parts I did understand make SO much sense though.

Finally, a theory that puts away the “MIB actually becomes dead people!!! He studies them, eats them, and starts walking around as them! He’s crazy awesome!!” theories.

Great to read the day before it all starts to end.

  2. Hi AES, I really like the amendments to your original theory. I feel that what you have presented is entirely plausible.

In regards to reincarnation, I’d like to refer to none other than Jacob himself. I expect that we will see Jacob’s ‘essence’ again, only in ‘other form’.

I feel this ‘common thread’ of reincarnation runs through many of our characters in some regard.

Regarding making mistakes when theorizing is all about perspective and perception. Those can change in an instant, especially on a site where theories, ideas, and discussions are frequently taking place. We all make mistakes, and I admire your forthrightness to admit what you feel is a mistake, albeit completely unnecessary, IMO.

I really like what you have added!

PS: I don’t have a red pen or pencil.

  3. I agree with Chief. This is a great read/add on the day before it “begins” again.

Strangely enough, it was just a few hours ago I was talking to a new Lost fan who was arguing against an alternate timeline possibility and some of the things that you actually bring up here. The first thing that I used as a “but why not?” argument was actually Richard’s statement about “watching them all die” — yet I didn’t go much further with it except thinking about how I hope we get to see Richard’s perspective that led him to say that to Sun…

The idea that MIB is now in Locke has grown to feel too obvious, so I think your idea in here is a solid explanation for another alternative to the “new” Locke.

  4. @kimberly – Thanks Kim…sorry, my mind was here when you commented last night…I was trying to put this together.

I will respond more directly to your comment on my other post tomorrow, hopefully before if not after the show…

I miss a lot of discussion during the day, and I wish I would have been on for that one.

  5. @dabiatchishere

Dbasi, I thought you would be on board for this one.
I still dont think anything changed from 77 to 04…

    The losties take control then.

I had this…I let it slip away…I am glad it came back now and not after 9pm tomorrow.

I couldnt figure out how to explain it before…not that I did a great job here…but its so hard to grasp…especially if people dont want to see it.

Thanks again for the kick in the ass with your theory…I needed it…

Sometimes when you specifically say thing…it just makes my head work different…I cannot figurethat out.

I have heard those thoughts a hundred times, in a less organized or comprehendable manner…but I still understood them.

It was killing me reading yor theory at work and not being able to focus…it clicked immediatley…
    Good timing…

  6. @Chiefof16

I did think it…I just didnt know how to say it…

He has power…just not what everyone thinks…

    John…John Flocke…he is a man as well…

I dont really know what the hell Jacob is, I have to stick with my original theory this is based on for his origins…

Has anyone considered the possibility that Locke is not MIB or Jacob…but MIB and Jacob are both Locke?

Both taken from alternate timelines created in the very same fashion Flocke was?
That the two men sitting on the beach, could very well be 2 different sides of Johns duality…meeting head to head…leaving him…the true savior of the world…and its worst enemy all rolled into one.

Locke to everyone: “Why am I so special?”

    Everyone: “You just are John.”

  7. AES, once again you present a very well thought out and provocative theory. I really liked how you adopted it to take into account observances of others. I really like your thoughts here and I completely understand what you are describing in terms of the time travel. But now I need to rant about something. But what I’m about to rant about is not your really great theory but rant against…everybody gasp now…the writers of the show. For if Lost does play out this way or in a way very similar then it means we’ve just way he’d one long, drawn out star trek voyager epiisode. Star Trek Voyager has done several episodes where in order for history to play out the right way it has to play out the wrong way first. I have two specific episodes in mind, “Timeless” and “Endgame”. While I don’t doubt that the writers will give us something very well written and character driven, I will be severely disappointed with them if they do that. I never cared for time travel as a part of Lost because time travel always opens a Pandora’s Box.

Once again I think your theory is really good. I only have a beef with the writers if they go down this road.

  8. I’m sorry, but i have to disagree with A.E.S. on some points. FLocke, is the Original John Locke, on that I agree. Where I disagree is how season 6 will start. If you read my theory, “This is Lost idea of time”, you will understand that the 815’ers will arrive back in Sydney Australia via conscience travel. My theory very complexly states the future will simply rewind, loop around and go in a different direction.

This is what the energy does from the hatch. When introducing another source of power, hence failsafe key which triggers some kind of bomb, or Nuke as used in 1977 end of season 5. Sends them back. As we are calling it Conscience travel. However i think to make it more correct, it’s more like a time bending. One single timeline, not alternate, or multiple time lines. Just one. Imagine a paper clip. Imagine that paper clip being unbent to make a straight line. This straight line represents time flowing normally. Now step out, and look at the paper clip. Imagine that the the “line” itself is a series of events as you go along the line. If bent in any way, it now takes a new direction, also resulting in new events and the old events never happening. I think the energy is capable of bending that paper clip, or time. And everytime it does so, events sort of rewind in the process of bending. However, those caught in the energy during that process will be able to literally watch those processes in reverse up to the point of where the paper clip started to bend. Hence the start to Season 6. Now i’m happy to say i guessed this before the new Season 6 trailer came out and it started showing everything go in reverse. Seeing this makes me believe more than ever this is how it will play out. I believe they will start in Sydney, get on the plane, then minutes before either make the pilot change course, and make it to LAX, or they will continue as normal and not realize what will happen until they fly into the island again, but then know about all of their future events. I don’t know exactly because I don’t know officially where the bend in time started. I think FLocke is Actual Locke but manipulated by the smoke monster or MiB. This is why the smoke monster appeared as Alex to Ben Linus, and told him to do as Locke says because things have already played out to the point where Locke wants to kill jacob but can’t. Now i like the idea of reincarnation. It works here. Christian is reincarnated, by having his body brought to the island, Now Locke. Maybe reincarnated beings can’t kill jacob. Maybe the MiB is just a reincarnated being who can’t kill Jacob either, but wants to. What if the whole Black Rock ship was another “Try” or “Attempt” to kill jacob that failed. And the flight 815 is the new “Black Rock” attempt.

Interesting thing though. With 815, Evil succeeds in killing Jacob. We know this because Jacob has his original form still. Or good that is. Evil doesn’t because it failed the first time with the Black Rock event. This is why Jacob would say “you found your loophole.” and dies. However, Jacob had already set in motion other events by giving certain people on the 815 abilities thus allowing a “Slight miscalculation” on Evils part resulting in time bending. Remember Jack? Always opposing Locke. I think he’s the variable. Locke is the Sap always “Falling for it.” Jack is the guy who wants to reset everything, feels he needs to. So he does. Time now bends into a different direction and in doing so, events are rewound back to a point where time doesn’t bend any longer and those involved in that process will know what worked and didn’t work last time. And Jacob will ultimately win this time around.

We have to assume Jacob is the good guy. And if he’s some kind of God which Egyptians thought their pharaohs were Gods. He would be all knowing. Knowing what his nemesis would do, planned ahead and set those people up.

As for season 6, I believe we know enough to figure out what will happen in the beginning, but since time is rewinding to make a new series of events, nobody can or will know what will happen the rest of the season, except to guess that Jacob ultimately wins, and things are different.
