continuity

Really random, but i was wondering if anyone else thought/noticed the “lack” (i suppose) of continuity with everyone back on 815.. concerning everyone’s hair.
It really bothered me that Kate’s and Sun’s hair are alot longer when they leave the plane than when they got on the plane (as i think Jack’s was to..).. I know this is an alternate timeline, but is this just really bad continuity and laziness of producers/editors/anyone or do you think it was done purposefully to show a new timeline beginnning?

  1. I NOTICED SMALL THINGS LIKE CINDY ONLY GIVING JACK 1 BOTTLE OF VODKA THIS TIME AND JACK’S HAIR STRAIGHT AWAY, ALOT LONGER THAN THE PILOT EPISODE.

I DON’T THINK IT’S A CONTINUITY ERROR AS THEY EASILY COULD HAVE GOTTEN CHARLIE A WIG OR SOMETHING AND I’M PRETTY SURE IT’S NOT A FLASHFORWARD EITHER. GOOD POST THOUGH. 🙂

  2. Mmm im thinking continuity error.. i think they needed them to look exactly like they did when the incident was occuring and so thought they could wing the flight..
Still theres NO excuse for charlies hair! and they could have easily cut kates and just given her extensions back on the island (and wigs for everyone else)
I think (apart from age – which the prods. cant really help) Sawyers hair is the closest to what it was

  3. I think it might all be deliberate, maybe because they know they’re not going to completely get away with saying the characters are the same age anyway. Like Jack’s scar on his neck too? I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure he got that scar on the island… ?
