Lost Movie
I am going to go on a limb here and state here that we will probably see a Lost movie in 2012. Enough mysteries were left unanswered to fill a film at least 3 hours long. I know the writers have said that this was the end, but they also denied that there was no purgatory dead scenario, although it was in the ALT world, there was. So with the huge popularity of this show and the many fans that would like some more resolve, I am sure there is a major picture studio just waiting to make millions off  a summer blockbuster and if produced right, there is great way to introduce all the mysteries through a new set of candidates, with Hurley and Ben as the island protectors. The new twist can be that the viewer actually has a little more insight than the characters, but yet still enough room for new discoveries

they just might do that but i would not pay a dime to see it. thought they sold out now nevermind what i would think then. not for me
It’s like me going up to the writers and saying, “Hey ****ers, I have something really awesome inside my pocket. If you want to know what it is, I’ll just have to charge you both 9 bucks a person, and 6 dollars for a large popcorn.”
Would I not be considered an ass?
What I’m saying is, I doubt they’d have the nerve to promise us answers in a movie.
Let me clarify: I’d pay to watch a Lost movie. I wouldn’t go if they promised us answers though in the trailer. I’d think that to be a hanus crime.
If they did do a movie, i don’t think Carlton, Damon or JJ Abrams would be involved, it mmight just be a case of ABC cashing in on the franchise, although i don’t really see how a movie would work.
I did hear something very cool in an interview with Micheal Emerson, apparently on the forthcoming boxset, theres like 15 minutes of extra footage with him and Jorge.
It fills the gap between Hurley taking the Jacob role, and the ‘everyone moving on’ finale.
Now that i wanna see.
There already IS a Lost movie. It’s called, “The Empire Strikes Back” and Hurley wrote it.
I will say this. Darlton left a fertile playground for Lost novels, comic books, etc. I think the show has enough fans that these things will come to market. So if you really want some answers, you can get them from average sci fi writer.
It would be nice if they at least filled in the time between Hurley taking over and the nonsense that was the reveal of the sideways world.
But I actually would love to see a dharma movie. They could tell a nice bundled story, reveal some island secrets and not get crazy with the scope.
A made for TV movie or mini-series would be great. The only thing we would be losing is time, if you wish to view the argument in these terms (time lost that is). We’ve already invested 100+ TV hours thus far, a few more shouldn’t matter. Heck maybe this is the ultimate meaning of the show and what the series should be called..TIME LOST.
After the end that was delivered to us I’m not sure I will ever pay much attention to stuff written by the writers of LOST.
Please no! No LOST movie! Don’t bastardize the legacy of LOST with some cheap movie…
